Media & Other Outreach:

 •  Conduct trainings on message development as we pivot the community conversation from civil unions to marriage. Research shows that the messages and tactics used to secure civil unions - messages of "equality," "social justice" and "rights" - backfire when discussing marriage. Our stories now need to be about love, commitment and honor. Learn More >>

 •  Forumulate and launch a strategic marriage education campaign in Hawaii to get real-life stories of LGBT couples out into the community.

 •  Develop educational public service announcements for television and radio.

 •  Encourage more local opinion leaders to record It Gets Better videos. Learn More >>

 •  Continue Equally Speaking, our weekly public access television show produced at 'Olelo Community Media as a forum for the people, places and things affecting Hawaii's LGBT community. The show currently airs on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and The Big Island. Watch Past Episodes >>
